Sweet baby jesus!
So I had planned to update this journal, exactly a year to the date of my last entry...and I will make no excuses other than sharing with you all that I have been kept busy being escorted around town, wined and dined...less wining more dinning...and I'm quite happy.
*cheers*

A picture update for the time that has passed:

Burlesque Hannukah Gift for my bestie

Christmas/Utah
Xmas in Santa Monica

Temple lights

Made dinner and dessert for the family...I'm still much better at baking than full-blown cooking.

I went to an art gallery show where I met the most exquisite Julie Newmar & Olivia De Berardinis.
I was too shy to ask to take photographs with them, but I had Miss Newmar sign a copy of "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar". She insisted I take a signed photo as well, so I did. I also purchased a copy of one of Olivia's Pin Up art books, and I've been drooling over the detailed images as often as possible
I was on cloud 9, and had to see if I could catch the way I was feeling with a simple portrait at the end of the evening.

I got my baby back! And hopefully she will be making her debut appearance on SG in the near future...

My last meal at my Santa Monica apartment. It was the perfect afternoon to say goodbye to such a beautiful little place. I may still try and arrange a shoot there...it was a time bubble of 60's perfection.

Goodbye, Santa Monica...I'll see you again soon. xo

I've been shooting quite a bit for friends and for my own personal projects. Most of the photographs are shot, styled, hair & make-uped by yours truly.
The beautiful Kristin

Classic Carla

And perhaps a couple of girls you know and love:

Instagram versions of my shoot with the Luscious Sash and the talented Liquidscience

And this is what I look like "editing" images on a lovely summer afternoon...and by editing, I mean sorting and adjusting light balance.

And this is my main man always! Trying to help as best as he can

For kicks, I've been "baking" for friends

Some how this particular batch ended up looking like miniature bazooms! Who would have thought!

An evening out at Club Suicide with my best friend Cody.bunny & her new, huge rugby friend Ian Nimmo

Listening to some living dead girl & coma white while painting at 3 am for a silly BBQ stand-in

And more recently...
Shot a commercial for Adult Swim & Wendy's. Did you happen to see it? It aired nationally through the first week of August. If you haven't seen it you can find the commercial here:

I thought the video game concept was pretty cute. Originally they said that I was going to be turned into a CGI Monster, so I was extra excited, but they ended up just blowing me up to be a 25 foot woman! Not as "cool" as I had thought, but still just as silly and exciting.
Let me know what you think!

This is the production coordinator and I making the director Christopher Louie
(Walter Robot) a happy man via a photo booth at the restaurant we celebrated at after the day wrapped

Arabian Knights themed party for our good friend Rachael

White trash themed party, keeping it classy

PG Shower time

Doll parts

Summer daze & California Poppies

Hard at work

Me and my best friend from 7th grade at a shoot

What's the most exciting thing that has happened to you this year?
How about this summer? I can't believe it's already mid-way through August...
How time flies.
Tata for now!

this is a really great update. i'm always happy to hear when someone is generally happy with life.
this year has been a bit rough on me, honestly. that being said, i'm sure good things are right around the corner.
