So here is a more lengthy blog from me.
Firstly hello to all the new people who have dropped by in the last day or so, secondly hello to all of my old friends on here who may or may not have realised I have re-emerged from the depths of the interwebs. Not a whole lot has changed here really, seems that most of what was new in 2005 is still here.
It's hard to say what drew me back really. I've been trying to get more creative lately and maybe missed having this place as something to draw on, maybe it's the people but the reason that stands out most is keeping a regular blog. I deal with things way better when they are written down.
Anyway, here is the last 2 years of my life in a nutshell:
- I am now living in the big old city of Birmingham. I love it but still can't get used to being landlocked in hot weather!
- I have been working as a freelancer and learned the hard way that although the freedom is great, you can kiss goodbye to financial security. This comes after my main source of income went insolvent in November taking 2 months of my wages with it, followed by working for another company who pay less then minimum wage and only paying you when they feel like it.
- I become incredibly promiscuous for a while, but then I met this guy.
- Now I have settled down. We have our own place together and he is just the best person ever
- Since finding myself with a lot of time on my hands I have been doing a hell of a lot more of this...
... While just generally trying to figure out my next move. So I guess that's about it from me. I'm now off in search of sweet treats while casting more my next shoots

Things have changed a good deal the last 2 years.
It is a good place to keep a journal, why I always stayed was because of all the interesting and creative people.
Im glad you like your new city.
I would love to do freelance work, but I have to have a good amount of money every month, so if I can just find a job I like I will be happy.
I bet you were not as promiscuous as you thought you were, just depends on your point of view, but it is good to live life for a while before you settle down.
