I'm bored. My boyfriend is geeking out doing the math so he can play some online game in the next room.
I've just finished baking brownies, they taste so good, I'm taking the rest to work with me tomorrow.
A lot has been happening in the land of LauraLily since I last updated, especially on the work front. The other day I went for an interview for a freelancer at a brand new photography company in Warwickshire, it was a pretty surreal and informal interview in a little bar somewhere in Rugby where the lady who interviewed me had her teeny little baby with her. After a chat she decided I was exactly what they were looking for and offered me a job on the spot. She asked me to send some further examples of work to her when I got home which I did. The response I got was not one I was expecting, not only did she love the pictures I sent her but she was so impressed she has asked me if I would mind training the other staff! I was pretty shocked but obviously said yes. I don't plan on giving up working for doubletake but another door has opened for me and I'm not about to slam it shut.
Oh yes and this week I have probably spent about 300. Bad. However this month I have no rent or bills to pay so decided to treat myself as I haven't been able to for the last year. I am so shopped out right now I never want to set foot in a shop ever again.
This week is set to be a good one too. I get to go home and visit Devon on tuesday for a few days to see my parents - and my brother is coming home to visit too, I haven't seen him since my birthday so am really looking forward to that, we're going to have Mexican food and just generally have a very good catch up and a laugh at my Dad's expense
Take care SG friendlies, I hope you're all well and good.

I have not had fresh brownies in years it seems.
That is great news, I hope the job goes well and takes you places in life, so how many days a week is this job and how are you going to have time for both jobs?
Some times you need to spend money on yourself, it is good for the soul.
I hope you and the brother have a grand time.
