It's been up and down. On Sat. i hung out with someone (
), had lunch, laughed. I know "breath of fresh air" is a hackneyed expression, but that's what it was. Plus he is 
. Very easy on the eyes.
So after a good day out, on my answering maching is a message that one of my best friend's mom died.
This is someone i've known since we were kids, so it's been pretty sad.
And to change the subject, being a lapsed catholic with a deeply ingrained sense of guilt, today is the start of Lent. My biggest problem with it, since i already know i'm going to hell
, is that you're not supposed to eat meat on certain days. 
Now i go ahead and usually eat meat anyway, but shit, the guilt of it...See i've confessed, maybe i will be saved....
