It's May, we've been locked down here since before St. Patrick's day and there's atleast another month. My job has still been paying us although it's been reduced and as of Sunday we will be furloughed so that's a whole ordeal with unemployment (which is kinda heavy in Orlando right now). An entire calendar month with this closure and then some, rapidly approaching 50 days which is insane.
To think April was going to be a big month, like from day 1. Wrestlemania was in Tampa and I was gonna stay with a friend in Tampa for it with so many big events that weekend (and alot of money put into M&Gs that obviously didn't pan out). This was going to be followed by some major OT at work and then Megacon. For whatever reason it was bumped up to April and was even the same weekend as Earthday Birthday (a massive radio festival). Both of these events are things I've attended every year since living in Orlando. Of course any and everything involving Mania got the axe and the event was taped privately while other festivals and conventions get postponed (and to be honest I think will be flat out cancelled).
I'm looking at the wall calender I write in and just thinking "what the hell happened" but here we are. Now we're looking at another month holed up trying to make the best. I've dedicated time to some projects and permitted no other setbacks with my back and overall health I'm trying to improve upon my overall shape.
Much to consider, in the meantime I'm going to keep at it. Hopefully when this thing finally ends we can look back and be glad we survived it. Also hoping this gives everyone a fair shot at doing better for themselves, but we'll see where this all goes......
