So yesterday my Dharma kicked my karma's ass...
I woke up at 8:30 and my appointment for my drivers license was at 9:40 and it's and hour bus ride from my house so, without any food, coffee or anything I got dressed and made it to the bus stop in seconds flat. My stupid alarm clack has this attitude problem and some time chooses not to go off...
So I head off to the exam and I pass... but I miss the bus by 2 minutes on my way out... I either wait an hour for the next one or take another route... It took me 3 hours to get home because for some reason people forgot how do drive when there is only 4 inches of snow on the ground... come on, we usually have a couple of feet by now and there are accident's everywhere, but I'm not that disappointed... I kinda do enjoy riding around in a bus watching people in their day do day lives and seeing the different sceneries draw themselves in the window.... but I was fucking hungry.
So I finally get home and I start my day off like I normally would... do a bit of yoga, have a shower eat some food have a coffee... and by this time I'm feeling pretty good.
Now I'm supposed to have my x-mas dinner with my Dad and his Girlfriend last night so that we can do the gift exchange, but instead I end up in a hospital! OH YEAH... Dharma ass kicking time!!
I left my house and headed to downtown Ottawa, and as soon as I got out of the car, I felt my legs just throb with pain... I figured it was just because of the yoga... but within a half and hour my whole body was in EXCRIUTIATING pain, I couldn't think straight and i felt like I was going to
. Isn't that some kind of wonderful, I get this flu in the middle of the day, just like that that develops in under a half and hour and totally immobilizes me...I get to the hospital and the receptionist was a bitch ( She just doesn't like punks I guess or she thought I was having a Bad-trip... ) she took my health card, said I had a 6 hour wait and told me to take a seat... so we went for a walk ( well I was in a wheel chair) and ran into a nurse that we knew and she just told me to go home, get some rest. It's just a virus that is going around at the moment and my best treatment was Tylenol, Advil and liquids... So I got my health card back, left and did what she said.. I'm feeling a bit better today, I can move my legs again...
So I sent my sister and brother to rent a movie (V for Vendetta cuz everyone now was talking about it) and a video game (Price of Persia). Now I have to admit, that movie takes the cake... It was awesome!
