Got snow here, but mostly ice. Got stuck at the Carolton party Fri night. Didn't plan on that, but I can't complain, was in the good company of four sweet ass women folk. Got back Saturday, was stuck home because the hill I live above got frozen real nice. Deep ditches on both sides made me not wanna risk the sliding about that was sure to come. Lost all power and heat in my apartment for two days. Made due by reading some WoT, Eye of the World. Good stuff. I'm rereading the whole Jordan series. Halfway through it. Ice let up a bit, so I slid my way out into town today. Good to stretch my legs a bit. Grabbed some grub, ran into an old friend. Talked to her at IHOP for a bit, was cool seein her. Then, went to Wal-Mart for some supplies, just in case. It was packed full of crazies thinking it was the end of the world. Insane people these days, I tell ya. Got some batteries and random wants/needs there, ran into Anthony and his cousin!!! He hooked me up with the business card of a local security company. I could carry my gun/weapons, they give me a truck, and tell me to stop jerks from being shitty. Sounds nice. And hell, if I get hurt/kill someone, I get a week off paid vaction! Beat that bitches. It's 9 an hour to start, with much room for growth. So please, pray I get this job. It'll be good to vent frustrations, fun to get exercise and be a target for local hoods, and nice to help people I like in the shops around the Pavillion area. I'm the hold the door type. Plus, hey, cool uniform. Heh. Got power back too. Score! Updated my Myspace page a bit. Let me know what you think.
