Sweet Jesus!
I just came home from seeing 'Donnie Darko' in the film fest. What a fantastic film. I'm not quite sure what intelligent things I can say about it without gushing a little, so I'll stick to the trivial:
I get jealous when people use 'The Killing Moon' by Echo and the Bunnymen in their films. If I somehow ever turned into a film maker, it'd definitely make its way into a film I made and other people using it makes me feel like I can't. Speaking of "bunnymen" - I wonder if the band name had any influence over the song being in the film.
Donnie's shoes were Gazelles. I love those shoes. God bless the eighties.
Gosh.
I'm sure that the bronchitis is nearly gone. I want to be well so that my partner in crime and I can run around this city being debaucherous again.

That film was excellent.
I don't know why, but I think Donnie was...good. Could have been better, but good.
