mi na Samhna

(homemade butternut/chocolate pie)

My mum gave me some Absinth she made. <3
Then, after an epic concert of Kadavar, me and
Aneria flew to Glasgow and Edinburgh to meet Scotland for the first time...
Glasgow treated us quite well with :

Awesome vegan burgers/fries/cheesecake/music at The 13th note.

It's gloomy-but-quite-incredible necropolis by night...
And in the morning :
And even this !

(still in Glasgow)
Then, in Edinburgh, we had the best host you can imagine,
AnnaLee. (Miss you!!).
We went to the Scotland Museum to learn a lot of stuff, graveyards, Arthur's seat, and we all talked a lot... it was way too short!

Bearded bear and red bird talking about... geology maybe?

Aardwark (the best I've seen in a museum so far) in Scotland's Museum.

Lots of crows and ravens around us in Arthur's Seat.

(no "memento" anymore. MORI ONLY.)
Concerts !!!
A year ago I was afraid by crowds, msotly in little or big places, like venues, stadiums, and so I rarely went to gigs and shows because I couldn't appreciate it.
In January, for my birthday, I went to Kylesa/KenMode show in Paris, then to Mastodon/Red Fang. I keep on going the work with Jex Thot, Conan and the Hellfest (not the first time, but I usually like it because I can go to my tent and read when I feel bad about the crowd).
I'm explaining that because lots of my friends saw that change more clearly since september, I went to so many concerts! At least once a week.
Now I clearly get it : i like to go to stoner/sludge/psych/doom shows, in little venues, meet friends and wonderful people. Feels like home, now, and I miss it very quickly!
So who have I seen on stage lately? I can't make a list right now but let's say that :
Kadavar was epic, Pentagram (in Glasgow) was powerful, Ufomammut put me somewhere else, Color Haze & Siena Root fill me with love...
And I'm now waiting for another Red Fang show tomorrow!
Wow,your mum can make Absinth, thats pretty neat, wish she could send some down here
