What a real difference a week makes. Bought a new hard drive and although I've got nothing to put on it that's a start. I'll find out if I can recover my stuff soon.
There is this crazy thing in Australia that happens with 'hard rubbish' people through out fantastic things. Got keys for the house next door so went on the hunt for some furniture. It probably happens other places but I am unaware of this.
I found the following lately - a 50's Kreisler multi-sonic stereo, a little bit of electrical tinkering and it works perfectly. I found today, and completely separately to the stereo over 100 7" rock and roll and rockabilly singles. 50 vinyl records. A bmx. 2 vision skate boards. 2 coffee tables. 2 wardrobes& matching bedside cabinets. A dining table, six vintage chairs. A surf board. A kids slide. A remote controlled monster truck. Vintage suitcases in perfect nick. A bread maker. A donut maker. Various matching kitchenware. A gas barbecue. A booty chest. A globe. An xbox and six games and a paella dish. To me this is heaven. Most of the stuff is sixties and seventies and in great condition. Shit is good and the karma recharge has happened and it didn't cost me a penny. The best things in when people see you and realise your not driving about in a pick up truck taking everything to sell on then they invite you into their garden or house and show you the 'secret stuff' that they don't want just anyone to have. It's too good to describe! I have missed half the things I got in the excitement!!
I just need a date to move into the place now. We have keys but are just doing it up right now.
Oh and did I mention I have special preview tickets for Thor with a goody bad on the night. Comics figures and adventure shall be mine, by Odin's beard!!!!
All this and my moustache is getting mighty :)
