Get in from my first day at my new job yesterday. Had a good day actually and it wasnt half as mundaine as I thought it was. Got my shift pattern in for the next week - 6.30-3.30 4 days. Well that might help with my sleeping anyway. I went to the docs on Friday, refered to a specialist and given sleeping tablets. Will take my second one tonight...make me really lethargic during the day though...and Im pretty energetic, so thats fucking me up big time.

Talking about getting fucked up, in my last blog I talked about the girl id been seeing and how that ended. Well I get in yesterday, havent heard from her since Thursday, there is a parcel waiting for me. I havent had any post here yet, was a book, collected ghost stories M.R. James, with a note...'I know your not sleeping and this prorbaly wont help, but just to let you know Im thinking of you....Love xxx' I am that fucked right now I sat looking at the writing on the note thinking it was amazing....Stupidly text her to say thanks...havent heard back....Right now Im burned beyond recognition. I know I need to walk away, but when you get notes etc and your fucked, its pretty difficult.

Went out last night, with my friends. Went to a bluegrass pub and a good band playing. The owner talked to me for a bit, as did the barmaid. Got chatting to her and finally just asked her out. Said she was sorry, but she had a boyfriend. Told me to meet her wednesday....That I dont need.

I think Im going to retreat to a small island, population 1. Just me and the turtles......aaarrrggghhhh!
