Damn, hardcore weekend. Friday, dinner date and watched 'the road' Not bad but not great....I felt it was a bit pedestrian in its take, although was a good message. Got to chat, got stoned and just totally chilled...was really cool. Im not an optomist, no matter what some of my blogs can suggest, but Im starting to rebuild my life down here...I still feel a bit mental, and after all the arse has fallen out of my worlde in the last 6 months, but all in all its a good year. If shit hadnt happened to me Id be a pretty boring character...not that Im saying Im uber cool

So Saturday, went for drinks, comedy club and home. Was pretty funny first two acts and an embarrassing dad as the headline. On the way out this bouncer calls me over, oi you.....Im thinking, where is this going? Then I realised it was just his manner. Said let me see your chest....and started talking tattoos...I dont trust bouncers, and thought I was going to get a random kicking, just shows you that I shouldnt always be so cynical.

Yesterday was a mess.....I vagely remember getting home. Went out for a drink with my new friend Adam, and a couple of his stoner mates. One drink suddenly became 5 and before I knew it we were all feeling fucked. Went back to his mates house and we all got a bit stoned, then adam and me went off into town. He left at 6.30 to go to a barbie in Eastbourne, I couldnt be fucked going so I stayed to finish my drink, as I was leaving these guys from Newcastle started talking to me and invited me to meet their mates..I went upstairs to the beer garden and they were all smoking weed and no one in the pub gave a shit....hilarious....Left about 9 and vaguely remember getting home....Cant have been that bad though as no randow half eaten kebab greeted me on awaking this morning.

I went down the beach this morning and sat and read....an asian couple asked me to take a photo of the, made me smile seeing a happy couple. Walked back up and through the lanes, and saw Nick Cave, dressed very inconspiculously. As I looked over at him he looked back and nodded...I nearly tripped up...I knew the guy lived here, and had kinda seen him before, but so cool just seeing one of your heros going about their daily business...

So I finally start my new job on Saturday. I couldnt deal with the other one, Went to the toilet for a break and never came back.....

I just hope this week is a quiet one....I doubt I can take another wild week!
