Inside of Me

There is a room with no walls
A clock without hands
And a window; with no glass
Yes, it seems pointless or empty
Yet imagination makes this my home
I see a home filled with murals
Cathedral ceilings,
Stained glass windows
And architecture that is seemingly
Flawless
There is nothing my mind has not seen
That my future will not bring me
Today is a moment of time
That will build the hands to my clock
Put walls up to shelter me
And a door to welcome you in
Although you may not see this
The dream lives on . . .
