Bonus blog.
Everyone's been listing music so heres my Recent Vinyl,
Not to be snobby about it at all, only because there are so many MP3 from all over the musical map on my hard drive, that the style usually changes up completely sometimes even before the track gets a chance to finish...
So I guess yes, I like my records a lot more than MP3. They look a lot nicer too....
Tandoori Knights - "Curry Up!"
This is King Kahn and Bloodshot bill, probably the best psychadellic hindi rockabilly garage Lp ever made.
King Kahn, Bloodshot bill, BBQ show, the shrines etc.
See them, buy them, play them etc. Awesome.
Zachary Thaks - Form the Habit re-issue (its downstairs) On norton records
This one was a gem, after hearing this track on the Nuggets garage/psych compilation I searched for more from them relentlessly, and finally found one at Neptoon records.
This was a real find for sure...
http://psychedelic-rocknroll.blogspot.com/2009/03/zakary-thaks-bad-seeds-liberty-bell.html
Other than that I've been playing Vicious cycles, GA'AN, supermachiner, the Turbans, Archie Bronson Outfit and a few more random 45's with Booker T in heavy rotation.
Oh yea and the old Trojan rarities comp. is great as well for some lo-fi first wave ska.
Extra Bonus.
Here's a repost of an old Iron Maiden Karaoke my friend Beau and I massacred a while back in Calgary.
