A big step into the future retiring the 7 year old dead laptop.
21.5" Imac i3 duo with 3.2Ghz and 1 TB hard drive.
Good enough for what I need, the best part is I can edit video finally.

terminially / astonishing,

The sound is clear,
as the air escapes, and egos deflate,
a gasp that thunders like waves crash,
breaking apart stone hearts with abandon,
then lingering, guaging the backlash,

the scene is a tomb, and all I hear in this deafening vaccum,
are hearts slowly ticking over,
pumping time, up towards digesting minds,
who can simply sit and gape,
collecting thier thoughts as the jaw just drops,

the seconds pass like centuries,
eyes locked in a glacial embrace,
there are no saviors of dinner parties,
no saints of conversation,
the sacrament is revalent in intent,
but with every word uttered, civility spent
one last wave to common sense,
and begin another tangent,

and all I can do is sit astounded, and think...

"Did they really say that?"
