Okay, so because my wee didnt have enough drama, I found out on Thursday, that 2 people were fired at my job (they literally walk up to you and tell you that you are terminated and escort you down the elevator) and That I am packing all my stuff and moving in one of those spots. They say that due to the economy, the company is eliminating my position and I am taking that position.

Now don't get me wrong, I am grateful for this job. It can about for me at a time when I though all hope was gone. But I feel like a victim in all of this too. I mean, why me...out of everyone in my department. Not one member of the clique of co-workers who shout out inappropriate things (which I like but know I could never do, and get away with) were even considered. Apparently I was the only choice. Ugh!

Meanwhile, the guy i replaced, never even liked the job. He was always going on about how he was pursuing his masters and how they didn't pay him enough and yada, yada, ya! But when they walked him out, he stodd down there and called all his friends, upset with what happened. He get a severance package and the rest of the remaining vacation time he would have gotten this year. I think he did pretty good. Ive been fired and given NOTHING before. Ugh!

So everyone is all, "Hey its better than being fired" and it is....for the most part. But change is a double edged sword. Either way you slice it, I am still the strangest girl at work....=) he he he
