The black market white baby dealer
Is hunting around overseas
The black market white baby dealer
Brings back clean fresh white babies to me
Clean fresh white babies to me
The black market white baby dealer
Is rooting around overseas
The black market white baby dealer
Kidnaps clean fresh white babies for me
Clean fresh white babies for me
My smile is a dime a dozen
My lips are cherry red
My eyes are blue like the sky is blue
Ive got good shoulders on my head
I look like your mother
I look like your great-aunt
So sit me down in the family photo
And everyone tells me that I look just like you
The black market white baby dealer
Is hunting around overseas
The black market white baby dealer
Brings back clean fresh white babies to me
He brings back
Oh my god he brings back
He brings back clean fresh white expensive babies
He brings back
Oh Charlie, he brings back
He brings back clean fresh white expensive babies
I come post-production
I dont need natal care
Im already fully assembled
Down the very last part, its all there
So take me into your family
So take me into your home
Buddy take me in as your next generation
And Ill take you out of the loans, ten million to one

Soooooo, as mentioned in my previous journal I saw Liz Phair on her acoustic tour on Friday night. Although her newer material has become incredibly saccharine pop, songs/lyrics like the above (from an unreleased song, before the Exile in Guyville days) are the reason I still love Liz. She still has a great, insightful sense of humor. In addition, she's gone from a performer who couldn't stand to be on stage, to one who is really at ease and able to show the best and most natural side of her personality.
In other news... my life has taken a reasonably good turn, but one which I am doing my best to ignore until it's a sure thing. Some people live for these times, when you're 90+ percent sure something really really good is going to happen. Most would be pre-celebrating, spending money, etc. etc., but quite literally I am scared shitless. There have just been too many times when the long-desired objective was within grasp only to be snatched away as God had a good laugh at my expense (Charlie Brown syndrome?). So, I've learned to be a lot more even keel about my outlook (aka boring), avoid the anticipatory ups, and thus the depressive downs. We'll just have to see what actually happens .

I just picked up INXS KICK and Van Morrison's Moondance. Both are albums I have already owned at least once before (Lord only knows where they went) but I was feeling reminiscent and wanted to hear them.
I have a million new albums that I want but I keep finding that I'm too indecisive to pick one so I put it off.
Have you heard Keane's Hopes and Fears album? It's another one that I already owned but can't find. I went to get it and it was $14.99 which was a surprise... when I bought it the first time it was $8.99!
Well... I hope all is going well with your business. It sounds great! What kind of business is it?
