While the SGCers were partying it up last weekend, I was visiting some family out of town. We all know how that can be, it's got plenty of ups and downs, but luckily, said family members live in Florida so the weather was a beautiful, clear 80 degrees every day.

The weekend was relatively sedate, but i did get to eat a load (maybe too much) of awesome homemade food and see a few sights. The coolest thing I got to do was visit the Dale Chihuly exhibition at a botanic garden. See some cool pictures below, and some more in my pics folder.







Then here is an 8 foot tall flower (not the plant, the FLOWER) getting ready to bloom.



Now, back to the grind. Loads of catchup to do after taking a whole 1 day off of work. But, I'll be seeing planty of you this week. White Sox tomorrow, Doom Metal on Friday, and hopefully MissOxalis' air guitar extravaganza on Thursday. Have a great week, folks!
