Hmm, time for an update. I have been mega-lazy about it lately.
I saw the movie "Cache" this weekend at the Music Box. It was really good although they leave open soooooo many loose ends. Maybe it's better that way though. It makes you focus more on the main character's motivations and thoughts than the actual events which force him to face himself.
As an aside, I love the Music Box, but seeing a movie in either of their 2 tiny theaters (as opposed to the huge main theater) is pure hell. The floor doesn't slope enough, so it's really hard for even the tallest people to see over everyone's head, especially if you need to read subtitles. Oh well...
In other news, not a hell of a lot is new for me. Still working like a dog, but at least getting stuff done. Stage 1 of the buyout of my company happens this week (finally!), so that is a good thing. Maybe now I can start saving to buy a place to live, I've only been renting since 1987.
On the love life, there's not much to say. Women are weird, and crazy, and intense, and of course I still love em. Unfortunately, I'm on the lookout for a new brand of craziness cause the old brand lied and engaged in immature behavior far too often.
I've been hankering to learn Japanese or Chinese (even though I really suck at learning languages). I heard one my SG pals praise Rosetta Stone a few weeks back, and I'm thinking of diving in to that. At least it'll be a 180 degree change from the things I do at work, etc.
Have a great week folks. Other than Opeth on Thursday, not sure what I'll be up to. Hope to see some of you there!
