Inspired by the lovely shicawgo
A - Age of your first kiss:
10 years old. Mary Henessey in a game of Spin the Bottle. There were others that same day, but that was the only "real" kiss. She later became my first girlfriend, although it was all pretty innocent.
B - Band(s) you are listening to right now:
Puscifer and the Underworld: Evolutions soundtrack in general
The Good Life
C - Crush:
Nothing substantive
D - Dad's Name:
Morton, like the salt
E - Easiest person to talk to:
My friends Chris & Lisa. Both of em really get me and what I'm all about.
F - Favorite meal:
Dim Sum. Nothing I like more than showing up for a Chinese breakfast at 9am, no other non-asians there, eating wierd stuff, drinking tea and reading a book. Can you tell I'm a loner? =P
G - Gummy worms or Gummy bears?:
I don't like gummy anything, but if I had to choose I'll take worms (gross) over cute (bears) any day.
H - Hometown:
Chicago
I - Instruments:
How I wish I had any musical talent at all, since I appreciate it sooooo much.
J - Junior High:
Damn, I am way too old and senile to remember much about junior high. All I know is we moved every single year, and I drank more booze, did more drugs and beat the crap out of people more than any other period since.
K - Kids:
I love kids, I want kids, although I might pass on the first 18 months (helpless stage) between birth and sentience if I could.
L - Longest car ride:
Drove about 28 hours straight from Chicago to New Mexico with some friends during college. We ended up getting into an accident in the rental car (which we weren't allowed to leave Illinois with) and had to drive the junker all the way home a few days later. At least no one was hurt, and I wasn't driving at the time...
M - Mom's name:
Mom, I don't think she has another name.
N - Nicknames:
It was Piggy when I was a kid (actually affectionately so). These days, I'm too cool for a nickname.
O - One wish:
I try to avoid wishing and hope, they only get me into trouble. Instead I'll concentrate on today, and what I can do to make myself and those I love happy right now.
P - Phobia:
Like many, I am scared of change. For that very reason, I force myself to experience new things, foods, places, cultures and people as often as possible. Confronting fears is one of the best things about being alive.
Q - Quote:
I hold a beast, an angel, and a madman in me, and my enquiry is as to their working, and my problem is their subjugation and victory, downthrow and upheaval, and my effort is their self-expression. -Dylan Thomas
I've got lots of other quotes, but they are long-winded and often require some context. I used to keep a journal of quotes I liked, mostly from classic fiction.
R - Reasons to smile:
Because you CAN.
S- Shampoo you use:
Aussie Mega.
T - Time you woke up today:
5:10 am
U - Unknown fact about me:
Not very unknown to some of you, but I have a serious addiction to reality tv. Case in point, I spent 3 hours on Saturday morning watching "Flavor of Love", Flavor Flav's (a rapper with a ridiculous personality) version of the Bachelor.
V - Vegetables you hate:
I could do without celery and lima beans.
W - Worst luck with:
Timing. I never seem to be in the right place at the right time. In love, in work, etc. I spend more effort getting less done than anyone I know, but at least something does get done...
X - X-rays you've had:
Nose (x25 or so), chest, fingers (x10 or so).
Y - Years since you've been to church:
Only about 3 months, for a Bat Mitzvah, but it's been almost 20 years since I went for my own spiritual enlightenment.
Z -Fuck Z, this is done.
More.
What do you like more - hugs or kisses?
-Kisses
What's your favorite body part?
- my eyes
What's your favorite body part on a woman?
- neck
What's your favorite part on a man?
- /shrug
What are you looking forward to most this year?
- sad as it sounds, saving money, the rewards of cutting my expenses.
If you could be professionally trained to do anything this year, what would it be?
- play keyboards/piano
Do you ever fantasize about an old love?
- Yes. I don't want to rekindle the romances, but the few girls who I've loved, I still love and always will.
What did you spend a lot of time doing as a child?
- Playing video games, hmm not much has changed...
You have been given a large sum of money to help reconstruct a struggling city, which city would you help?
- Chicago. I really love this city, and public housing here could use some serious work.
You are homeless. You can either stay at a hostel or with a rich but total stranger - what do you do?
I guess I would stay with the stranger. The hostel is full of strangers too.
Do you think androgyny is sexy?
- Not really. I often like the way women look when bald or dressed masculine, but not really becuase it makes them look less feminine, in fact it often does the opposite.
Whew, that took me a while, but I definitely owe ya something of interest. HUGS folks.
