Went to The Note last night here in Chicago and saw a buncha my friends' bands - my friend Terry is an excellent guitarist... all this time I've known him, I never knew.

Well, in going out last night, I've recruited my friends Terry (an experienced camper) & Wendy (semi-experienced) to go to Burning Man next year. We plan to add our pals Pam & Tommy too (very experienced campers) onto the caravan. I'm so happy (and relieved) to now be able to plan for next year.
My friend Wendy, aka The Human Cannonball or alternately Gnomi Baloney, gets mistaken for me all the time, and people often think we're sisters. Soooo... I'm designing some matching silver costumes for us next year - we're both 6-feet tall, red/auburn hair... we're gonna be amazing - The Titanium Twins! Below are some pics of me & Wendy from the other night, acting goofy... how unusual for us. Hehaw! (She looks taller than me in the pics cuz she had some big, honkin' platforms on)

Okay, so I'm a bit of a ham... tiz true.
Me with my "Don't fuck with me" face on... also one of my favorite T's of lower Manhattan, pre-9/11. Weird story about that Tshirt... I bought it on Septemeber 10, 2001... woke up the next morning to the news of the Twin Towers getting hit by planes... that was truly eerie.
Just so excited to be able to be free to plan now for Burning Man 2006! And I'm going with my homies, all of whom I love dearly! And for all of them, it will be their virgin burn! I will be the experienced Burner of the bunch. At least for my virgin burn this year I had a great guide and mentor who taught me a lot. Thanks Michael! Aaaaaaaaaaaah! I can't wait!!!
