The wedding was fabulishush - truly beautiful. These are old friends of mine & my (estrgd)husband. The bride, a super gorgeous, crazy, fellow bawdy broad & dear friend who I fondly call Tillman & her beau, Joe, who my husband has known since they were in school. I didn't take any pictures - d'oh! Oh well, there was a photographer there who seemed to be taking lots of candid shots, so there should be some goods ones.
Joe toured when he was a teenager with Suicidal Tendencies as their bassist. He now co-owns Hi-Fi Records, the store they shot "High Fidelity" in - there are actually 3 Hi-Fi's now, a small chain if you will, so hip-hip-booyah for Joe!
He and his lovely, now-wife, Tillman, also have a performance-music-collective called Cattivo (Caaattivvvohh is eeevvillllll) that's on hiatus - think Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass crossed with The Crazy World of Arthur Brown with lots of fuzz guitar, then mix in campy, 60s backup singers. Joe is also Beau Grumpus from The Goblins, but shhh... you didn't hear that here.
Tillman (aka Chris/Christina) is a tight friend who I first met when she was fronting a Misfits tirbute band as Glenda Danzig at a Halloween ho'down at the now-defunct, infamous punk venue, the Fireside Bowl in Chicago. She was great and the most beautiful Danizg I've ever seen!
She & her husband started dating many years after that when he just happened to have an extra ticket to a Misfits concert @ the HOB, and... well... 
sweet.
She and I do a killer Ethel Merman duet medley together... we've always wanted to do a 2-Ethel review... maybe someday *sigh*

I'll probably live, just that the timing sucks. Even though now I'm a burner and I get to dress up for events all the time, it's still a bit of a bummer. The other time I missed out was 3 years ago. The plan was for the girl and I to fly to LA triumphantly on the 30th and be guests of honor at a big halloween bash with all our friends. However with the surprise breakup the party was completely canceled, and I realized that I pretty much lost custody of all but one or two friends (though they had been her friends for a much longer time, I'd known most of those people for 5 years).
