Whew! finally learned how to make a darn journal entry! Only took me a week! Anyway, I tried submitting a set, got rejected, but at least i got criticism on what i did wrong and I was asked to send another in. I didn't get a deadline, so I don't know if I'm supposed to wait those 3 months or not....?
The 3 baddies: Differing light exposure, blurry pics, and not enough nudity. She did also note the BG was a little on the plain side. I took those into heart, and I'm trying to find a new setting and a better digital camera(one I can buy a self-timer or remote accessory for). I'll not be using partial sunlight from inside; it caused yellow and natural light exposure in the photos, some turned out white, and some yellow. And I most definitely will get nekkid much quicker, I sent in 80 pics and I didn't get naked until halfway through.
So, I've got the 3-lamp head stands to provide loads of light, and a setup for the BG(almost), and a good quality Kodak digital camera with an ultra-adjustable 5ft tripod, just missing timer to take these pics by myself and a little more stuff to piece together the setting.
I've been recovering from a wicked sickness, so I'm hoping to shoot another set this upcoming Wed. or Thurs., maybe Fri.
So what's the moral of today's story! Try, try, try again. I'm deadly determined. Rejection has only made me much more willing to try harder.
