time to play catch up . . .

I'm still out in Denver, hanging with valentine, my bro, vin, and all the crew. I'm here for a couple more days, then back home to all that crappy snow.

I jacked myself up the first day here, only 6 hours or so out here, by jumping off my skateboard directly onto my shoulder and head. it was pretty great. My shoulder's much better, and not broken like I thought, but I still can't lift much with it, or really use it for anything good. I did black out for a second, puke, and spend the rest of the evening trying to figure out what thoughts over the last 24 hours were real and which were dreams . . . like did I REALLY hang out at wendy's with David Hasselhoff??

So I've spent the week walking around denver, nursing my shoulder, seeing as many people as possible, and uhhhhh, shopping. sheesh. Oh, and reading a book about Black Metal! it's pretty awesome.

Vin, Craig, and I went snowboarding yesterday. I wrapped up my arm (with Craig's help) and I looked like freakin' magnum PI with a shoulder holster. Of course, I got cut off in the first 10 seconds off the lift and fell back onto said shoulder. it was GREAT!! okay, maybe not. I was really nervous the first run, but after that, it wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be. We had a fun little day, and I didn't hurt myself any more.

I'm here for a few more days, then head home Sunday night. Have a rocker, y'all!
