Well i had an 'eh day. I woke up at 7:30 this morning after sleeping only about 4 hours. Had to be at work at 9 and still managed to show up like 10 minutes late. Then while at work i got a phone call informing me that i needed to goto the upper west side in New York in the evening to sign some papers and leave my deposit for my plane ticket so i can go on my trip next month. I was just urked cause they had my phone number and email to get ahold of me to let me know i needed to get this stuff in by a certain date. Instead they call me the DAY OF. UGH... what if i didnt work the morning and had to work the afternoon shift like i usually do. I would of been screwed. But i took the 4pm train into the Grand Central. Got in at like 5:15. Ate some pizza, Met with the people i needed to meet with, dropped off my check... signed my forms then decided to stop at Time Square on the way back to Grand Central. Went to Starbucks for overpriced coffee. I hate coffe mind you. But for some reason i like starbucks. Maybe its the fact that they can say "$4.34" for a large coffee with a straight face. Gotta give them credit for that. Then i stopped at Toys R Us. Man that was a mistake. Good thing i didnt buy anything but i killed a good hour at least there wandering around. God I love that toy store. The one thing that really disgusted me was the fact that Transformers are re-releasing all the original figures but are charging like $35 for each one. Thats steep, and i dont care how bad i want Thundercracker or StarScream... I'm not shelling that out for them. I'll get the original 1985 version off of ebay for like 7$ with shipping. After that i just wanted back to the terminal and caught my train home. And now I'm here... All in all the day started out pretty crappy but ended up ok i suppose. I just hope i can get some sleep tonight. ::crosses fingers::
