for the first time in my life, I tried on a real armor! this is not a prop and props))) chain mail, and the shield is used for combat re-enactors in the Vyborg-city. And they are not light in weight... despite the fact that swords, axes and pikes are specially blunted, often there are severed fingers or pierced chain mail.... and these armor guys do it themselves according to historical references) this chain mail, for example, weighs 9 kg....and the sword and shield are quite heavy) I was almost sucked into the swamp with such a weight 😱.
Oh, how I liked it!!!!

That is a good idea for a shoot. I try to like Spartacus, lots of nudity and sword fights, but it is so historically inaccurate I end up throwing things at my television. I have a huge interst in the Roman Republic. The Ides of March was the worst day in history.
