After 17 years, Fluffy finally died.

My family has had this cat since I was five years old. She's been getting really sick here lately. When I was up there last week, she couldn't keep any food down and had a hard time walking. When I left, she couldn't walk AT ALL, and could barely breathe. The thought of her suffering KILLS me. Her face got all sunken in and her eyes were all sad.

My family hasn't had money to put her down until now. I just got a message from my sister at 12:30 today simply saying "She is gone." I don't know if they put her down this morning or if she died at home (hopefully in her sleep). I just know I'm really sad right now. It's like losing a sister. That cat has moved around with us and been a part of the family for such a long time. I know it's been tearing my mom up inside to see Fluffy suffering. My sister and I can barely talk about it for a minute without bursting into tears.

My dad is burying her between some bushes in the backyard. My parent's are going to get her a headstone tomorrow. I guess it's the least we can do for such a great pet.
