Okay, people. Some of you remember a while back when I started changing my username on here, and some of you (though not all, I know) know why.
I got an e-mail a couple of days ago, from someone admitting his crime. It wasn't who I thought it could be, but it was one of his friends, doing it on the behalf (though NOT at the request) of the person I thought it could be. So it did in fact have to do with the whole not-being-friends-with-this-person-anymore situation, but it was not in any way the responsibility of this person. This is an official and public apology to this person for having suspected him.
------------------------------------
Moving on. This is the last post of the year! Creepiness. Heh. Not really. What does it really matter, that the year is changing over? It's an artificial thing, our divisons of time. Time is one big long unbroken piece, flowing into itself like water in a river. Just because we say, "this is a second, this is a minute, this is an hour, this is a day, a month, a year, a decade, a century, etc" doesn't make those seconds and centuries real entities with any real, lasting meaning in the grand scheme of things. Time flows on, and we are swept along with it.
BUT that doesn't mean I can't celebrate the turning of one artificial subdivision of time into another artificial subdivision of time! I'm heading out with Aural and her boy tonight. Esme and Slumberjacker have been invited, but I'm not sure if they're coming...itburns and AmStar might come, too, I hope. (*hinthintwinkwink*)
What are the rest of you crazy cats doing for the Eve??

I'm a Latin dork. You could just say "pax felixque" instead of having to use the English "and" between them.
True enough, but I was writing to an English audience and wanted to provide the ability to Google the phrases independently, as "pax felixque sit annus novus" isn't likely to produce any intelligible results, if indeed any at all. [winks]
