I had a very strange dream.
It was not from my own perspective;I was the fly on the wall. It was strange, seeing myself from outside like that. I was walking down a corridor. My vibrant, violet heels clicked impetuously on the buffed linoleum with each purposeful stride. I don't know where I was going, but it was evident whoever was there was in trouble. I couldn't even tell where I was going from the way I was dressed : Black, snug--perhaps a little leggy. The heels were the only color I donned. Except for the matching stripe of violet in my hair, which was down and attractively mussed.
The incandescent lights in the hall began to shut down behind me, with each click of my heel. There was a heavy steel door at the end of the door, it was locked. I shook the handle vigorously, demanding that someone let me in. No response. I kick the door. It shatters. Shards of metal clatter noisily on the linoleum. I step over the mess, careful not to trip or scuff the heels.
There was an office, with a large wooden desk and oversized executive chair. There was a woman sitting in the chair, with her long, beautiful legs propped on the desk. She was dressed similarly to me, but her heels were hot, hot pink . She was pale, shapely with dark hair, pouting lips and extremely green eyes. She smiled smugly. I (fly-on-the-wall-me) got the idea that she's the type of woman that is fun to hate.
The conversation was heated, as I expected. Somehow, it ended sensually on her desk. Lips on lips, hands in hair, breasts pressed up against breasts, threatening to burst out of shirts. Her skirt was hiked around her waist, and I was exploring her--pleasing her. She climaxed, and an obnoxious klaxon went off simultaneously. Flushed and exasperated, she sat up and gasped.
"We have to run!" She exclaimed.
Then I heard it. The shuffling, shambling and moaning that can only be associated with one thing: Zombies.
It's remarkable how fast we ran in those vibrant heels. We made it out of that nondescript building and out on to the street.
They were everywhere.
I woke up.
