On the bus today had a memory come back to me.
I was about 10 and my sister would be about 5. I had taken her to the park. It was an old wooden one. The ones where someone thought it would be a good idea to make a "bridge" with gaps in it 5 ft up.... on a kids playground. Anyhow my sister fell through, I managed to catch here but there was still a 2ft drop or so.... which is big when you're 5. There was a group of teenagers sitting around chatting, one of them came over to help my sister down. After a hurried thanks we decided it was time to go home. I learned the next day that those at the park were the last ones to see him alive. He hung himself on "the firemans pole" less then an hour later.
