Went and saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre tonight. Although, admittedly, it might sound like horror geek blasphemy and this coming from and bonified dork, I think it was better than the original. At first I was disappointed in the changes in storyline but in retrospect I think they were for the better. It took care of many of the original story and film flaws from the original. Then again you might as well try and compare Evil Dead to Evil Dead II. This movie however scared the shit out of me which is no easy feat. I was thoroughly impressed.
