Sorry I haven't been on and I have so much to catch up on.
Moving to a new place takes A LOT of time. Particularly since i basically gave away all my furniture before I moved.
So, here is the issue.
At my new home the upstairs neighbor is really loud. At least in my mind. They also have a child (in a 1 bedroom apt????). From what I understand NY is fricking ridiculous and there is no limit on how many people can live in a one bedroom.
So I am thinking of just writing them a letter letting them know I can hear them - I figure they may not realize it when their child runs across the floor at 6 am.
Any suggestions on this? I find it hard to not throw anything rude or threatening - like I the fact they clearly don't have carpet over 80% of the apt, or bringing the management company involved.
So, please leave your suggestions below of how to just let them know I can hear them without switching into bitch mode.

We know people who've had multiple children in a one bedroom - they co-sleep.
