Ummm yeah.
So I just realized my parents both just turned 70.
I am freaking.
Yes, they did have me late in life.
But this is scary.
I am hating it.
I realize everyone get older, but I feel like we are on the countdown.
I am scared about what will heppen when they are gone.
Morality is scary.
I also realize that anyone of us could die tomorrow, but this is scarier.
Edited to add: Doesn't make it easier that one of them is dealing with their S.O. suffering from mental disease.

Okay, maybe your parents had you late in life. But mine had me even LATER. My dad is now 73 and I'm only 27, so I know how it feels. He has had two surgeries in the last 4 years, (spinal and knee replacement) and he uses canes, and will probably have to for the rest of his life. My mom is younger and in excellent health, but she IS in her mid 60s.
But you know what? They could live to be in their hundreds. Or, someone young you know could be hit by a bus tomorrow. You never know.
