Sorry for the negative post.
Somehow it feels when I used to post daily, negative posts were more okay, but now that I post less it seems unfair.
I think it getting dark at 4:30pm is getting to me. There is a lot to be said for seasonal depression. When you go to work in the semi dark and go home in the dark it makes you really tired.
That said I started to think about how I was trying not to be negative.
I do have one real question - what do you think about handwriting vs using printed address labels on Christmas cards? I don't mind when I get one with a printed address label but would love to know what others think. My hand hurt after doing all the cards this year.
ETA: The tree is up. Awesome. That took like 20 minutes - I thought it would take hours. To be honest, the tree is only up for the "Christmas dance" - which is my free present to anti_duff every year, but probably his most favorite.

They have offered voluntary buy outs in my area. They said it will probably take 3 years to get to me. Even then, it depends on how many claims have been filed. on my house.
The house I shared with my ex-wife went almost two years without foreclosure. She was supposed to pay the mortgage from the date the divorce was official, until it was sold or she refinanced it to get my name off, which she was given 90 days to refinance. The divorce was official July '08. She stopped paying the mortgage Dec. '08. We didn't sell the house until February this year. The bank stopped calling it delinquent once the short sale process started October last year. So, yeah. Two years and no foreclosure? That is over $40k in the bank for me. I'll put the house on the market, but it won't sell. Especially after knowing how hard Irene hit this area.
