Like many others in the Northeast, I am very sad about the summer we didn't have.
But I cannot help but still love the beginning of fall.
When you wake up a bit chilly, but not cold.
When the air feels cool and crisp.
Even the smell changes, the smell of fall and turning leaves.
I will be at the Big E on Monday (for none NE'ers it is a big state fair that represents all the New England states). Which will be the perfect way to spend a fall day,and a good way to get myself nice in grounded in my country roots. Something I need often.

The Big E is fucking awesome!!! I love all the food and booze and carnival rides. It's always such a good time. I feel bad for anyone in this area that has yet to experience it.

I'd never even heard of The Big E until I joined SG. Have fun; please take lots of picks and give us a full report. Oh, and fall is my fave season. I'm not a fan of summer.
