I don't want to remove that blog - but there is update stuff.
But I wish I was back there.

First day of work today went incredibly well!
Though I am still totally focused on the commute. I really need to just let it go - I just can't yet.
The job really is an amazing one. It is with a strong company, a kick...

That sounds pretty cool, except the commute.
As for the alarm clock, I crushed it just enough for the clock not to work anymore. But I got a new one that hooks up to an ipod.

Been watching "Freaks and Geeks" on IFC and seems like show was finding its stride

In celebration of my new job, and the strong likelihood that I won't be able to take another for 6 months we took a trip to Key West, FL.
It was totally last minute - booked the whole trip about two days before we left.

Right before we left, hit up the NY Comic Con. We went on Saturday and it was hell!!!
Way too...

Hey lady, it's good to see a familiar face!

Now that looks like fun. I envy you very muchly.

I would agree with you on your point, however this is the fourth day in a row. I'm going to stop trying now just because I'm getting irritated and I don't want to look like a stalker

So who else will be at the NY comic con this weekend?
We will be around on Saturday.
I wil be the blonde who looks like the chick in the pic. smile

I am fairly excited since i have never been to a comic con in my life.
What should I expect besides a ton of awesomeness?

For real I think I have an internet addiction.
I swear I would rather be on the internet than hang out in the real world anymore.
That is bad!
Maybe it is also due to the lack of routine in my life lately.
Not sure.

Any ideas besides just quitting cold turkey on how to get over internet addiction?

Now that my work schedule has changed, I rarely login to anything any more. I also seem to schedule more stuff in the evenings so I'm way more social than I used to be. Find something (or in my case someone) to keep your entertained and away from the intrawebbarnets.

So, still awaiting the final good news - suffice to say the job hunt is going well smile

Until then - this is one thing that makes me smile and helped me get through the past summer. I was at my childhood home most of the summer due to mom's health issues. And this is a little peek of one of the good parts. And yes...

I am still reeling from the loss of my ex coworker, who passed while giving birth to her child.
I attended her funeral this afternoon. There were so many feelings. Obviously, greif over the tragedy of the death of such a young woman during a time that should have been filled with job. But it was also strange because I had put off seeing my...

There has been much death that has touched my life this summer, and as I live through this and as I grow older, so many questions go through my head. Questions that you can't just google. Age old questions.

So I ask for your opinion and argument.

Is there life after death? Is there something after this life?
And also, how are those who pass...

Well, you could still google those, but I think the answers might not be very insightful.

Seriously though, I am about 80% atheist. There may be something after death, but I think who goes when has to just be chance. Because is there is some higher power making those choices, he or she is an asshole.

Recieved shocking news today when I returned home from another interview.

An ex co-worker of mine passed during child birth today. The best way to explain it, is that it really feels as though a light has been snuffed out on the world.

We were not the best of friends, but she was the one who actually helped me get a better severance package when...

In case you miseed the last blog you can find the unPG picture of our trip now live on anti_duff's blog. Just a few.

I believe he kept some for himself.

So, where to begin?
It is a quiet week, no interviews.
I think this might be a good thing. I feel just totally exhausted. It is hard to explain. But when I wake...

That looked like a fun vacation.
The concert for charity but put together and held by very large bikers. I'm 6'4 and these guys dwarfed me, so the pit was dangerous, but still fun.
