if youre in norfolk (or near norfolk really), you need to check out a new restaurant. The Boot is on 21st street in ghent - about a block off of granby street. the food is fantastic - very classy italian. not your average corporate take on italian, either. i'm talking serious italian food. stuff you'd find on my grandmother's table
open for dinner, tues-sun 5-10 with late night food 10-1. check it out. the owners are the same guys who own Relative Theory Records in downtown norfolk.
on another note, i'll be home in nyc next week with nothing to do on friday (the day after thanksgiving). i bought a ticket for the trip and then found out that the only day ill be able to see my family is thursday for turkey. wednesday and friday, everyone has to work. blah. i'm not much of a shopper, so ill have to find other things to fill my time.
i'm planning a couple of trips for the next couple of months, too. i'm pretty excited.
i'll be in portland the first week of december, back to nyc for a couple days around christmas, england for new years, and vail at the end of january.
yay
