Ah, well guys, let's talk about SG a little bit. What do you think about the way this site functions? I haven't been here for longer than a year, but for months it became a pretty important part of my life. Then I kind of just talked to some of the amazing people I've come across through here, and now I only pass around when I want to check some nerdy looking or unique sets on MR (given the fact that very few FP are the ones I would choose). I thought of trying out being part of this community as both - model and photographer, and then this idea stopped being anything other than a mere possibility if I find the right person to work with. There is something about this site that bothers me. I think the fact that photographers get paid so little when signing for a contract that is going to own their photos attract very few amazing people out there who just can't commit to such a big thing. And then those who enter this cycle of staff photographers who will get paid 500 per set it becomes almost annoying. I can think of at least three photographers I really liked when I started out here that I can't even look at anymore. Their sets become generic and plain, and creativity is kind of left out cause they already know the formula that works in order to get bought.

Then there is also the idea of it being for amateur people who learn by doing and who use this site in order to empower the idea of nudity as a valid form of self-expression. But I don't really see it that way anymore. The site evolves in a much different direction than I would like to go. I want to see Nemesis' and Lison's set up, Bad Days by Malloreigh, Lavonne's work, etc. but I see so much generic work instead... from all those three photographers and then from other two that are probably going to be staff pretty soon and get into that cycle as well.

But mah, anyway. It's not really a protest or anything. I don't know exactly what it is that bothers me so much about the way things are run here, but I'm still here, right? So yeah, I just wish I were here more often for all the reasons I thought I would join for. I was absent for a week and I didn't miss it at all, I just got this discount for a cheap one-year membership and thought I would take it and go back to try become part of it again. But I've kind of failed on that attempt. I don't really check this out more than once or twice a week unless Dan and I decide to look through some sets together but I don't really see this as being anything special for me anymore. Ah, it's my fault. Expectations always suck.

I'll stick around at least for another year AND I'm totally posting a LOT of pictures from my last 3 modeling gigs and my two future sets as a photographer. All my new stuff is here and the self-captured project is kicking ass!
