It's beautiful thinking that everything you are looking at makes perfect sense for a brief moment.
1. Artist.
- I definitely need to learn photography. My eyes have been obsessed with capturing moments and ideas for too long now. I need to sell my HVX video camera for 800 dollars. It's only been used twice for less than half a day and it was worth when I bought it last christmas 2.500 bucks. It's a Sony HVR-1000U. I am not prepared for film now. I first want to buy the Nikon d90 to shoot photos constantly in this trip to Venezuela and once I get the technique of this artform I'm sure I'll be able to get back to film. It makes perfect sense to me. I shot a lot of pics in Seattle and Portland but with Dan's camera so I can't upload any of them yet and learn from my mistakes.
- I want to take an acting class. I just think I need to do it. I feel like modelling for this site and I feel like understanding the art of lying to an audience in front of a camera. I've always been behind the lens, so I just think I'd do so much better if I also tried to be in front of it.
- I can't wait to learn music more seriously. This is kind of driving me nuts. I go to Dan's house and practice some guitar and then I go for more than a week without anything. I want to take piano lessons but with my parents this process is getting so slow... and yesterday I had so much fun learning for the firs time drums! But again, it's kind of frustrating. I need to focus on one or two things and doing them with much more consistency.
- Writing. There's no doubt I want to be a writer, and it's also clear I can't do it in English. I'll try compose some music in English, I'll try do college in English, but I'm not gonna focus my efforts on trying force myself to make English my first language. Also, I just thought of it today. I am going to write something, a sentence, a short story, a poem, a description of whatever I want, etc. SOMETHING every day. You never know
- Filmmaking. I'm writing scripts. I'll get into film as soon as I am ready again.
