On a more serious note, I am hopeful that I will be getting a nice promotion (and pay raise) sometime in the near future. I have two good opportunities, one within my department and one with my old boss, whom I love. It's pretty much a win-win situation and I am going to so relieved when something is concrete. I've been needing this break. And I deserve it, damnit.
I'm good enough, smart enough, and most of the time, people like me.
And if they don't, fuck em. That's what I say.
I sat on my arse this weekend and sipped lemonade while my bf cleared the dead trees and brush out of his backyard. He wouldn't let me help him.
