I had a job interview on tuesday and after that i received a call about my resume so wednesday i had another. this second one offered me to start training on monday and by friday they would then be able to officially offer me the position. in the interview i think i wowed the supervisor. it's not a kind of job i've ever done before but with my knee being utterly frelled it's time for a desk job. it's for a call center... on the minimum it pays what my retail job that i've been out on disability from paid- but since it's sales the goal of your being on the phones in the first place is what earns you commission. i've worked retail for so long so i'm actually a bit excited about straight forward selling and the ability to really get noticed and rewarded for my efforts.
saturday the boy and i are looking at an apartment which allows you to have a small dog so that's awesome. my sami, a chinese pug, is 10 years old now so there's no way we could live somewhere without that pudding. very excited about moving in with my love and starting our life together.
double hoping the job and the apartment work out great. sure the job will be the same thing day in day out- but it's the kind of thing that once you got it you got it. also, there's plenty of room for promotion, which really is my main motivation to just embrace what i'll be doing and really give it a solid, confident effort. times are rough and i'm happy i'm still finding opportunities for work especially when so many people are struggling just to make ends meet.
life and love!
