I'm at GDC. I came down with a friend of mine from the Big Evil. He works in the MSN Online Games group and keeps bumping into people he knows at the conference. I got to hang out and talk with the inventor of Tetris, shake hands with the guy that wrote defender and observe the generally poorly washed masses. Its overload but at least its from things that are entertaining. One more day to go and I am already kinda burnt out.
I applied for a Systems Architecture and a Network Engineering position with Relic Entertainment. They've released Homeworld, Homeworld 2, and Dawn of War. They are based up in Vancouver BC. Who knows it wouldn't be a huge move.
I'll have photos to post when I get back home. There is a Suicide Girl party sponsored by some industry folks that I plan on going to later tonight. Should be good stuff. If anyone else is around in SF or even better attending the conference, drop me a line and lets go make fun of booth babes and ubergeeks together.
