I took my eldest back to school shopping and it dawned on me that I am going to totally have to get a higher paying job to do this every year. My kids are only getting older and they are no longer satisfied with cutesy clothes from the "children's Place" to which I have done all my shopping until now. Its west 49 and boathouse where the jeans are like 50 bucks a pair and my son needs at least 3 pairs. He wears adult sized jeans so I can't even get the 2 for 50 buck on youth jeans deal cause he dont fit youth jeans anymore. My daughter refuses to wear anything that I buy her and if it is even remotely girly you can toss it out the window. She has the wardrobe of a superstar and resorts to wearing her younger brothers soccer shorts and dirty tank tops with skateboard shoes. At least I dont have to worry about my little guy yet. He pretty much wears whatever, but he has a thing for Paul Frank clothes, so I usually pick up a few things from work.
There, now that I am done my ranting on back to school shopping I can be all calm and peaceful like.
I have to admit, I was super jealous that I can't buy myself some of the shoes my son was looking at.. I love skateboard shoes which makes me extremely immature or just a freak or maybe both. Maybe I should just get a job at one of these places and make use of the staff discounts
So what are you doing for the weekend?
I have the joy of working

The older they get, the more expensive the clothes get!
