Wow... last post was in 2006 huh.... I suck!
But, here I am now. No I'm not dead, very much alive (altho it was close there for a while).
MAJOR UPDATE//: Now living with my vegan boyfriend. Been together since end of 2008. He's a wonderful openminded man. We're in an open relationship and it works for us.
I'm probably the most unlucky person - I broke my knee after moving in 2006. Then went through a major depression and broke my back in 2007 (no worries, I can still walk, altho my docs were surprised). I actually died in March 2010. Yep. My heart stopped beating for an entire minute while I was undergoing surgery because of problems in my kidneys and liver. No white light tho. Only darkness. Makes me wonder. I'm mostly back to normal now except for a few healing scars and a newly broken toe that I broke while heading to the club to go dancing after not going for 4 months.... there was no dancing that night! Many drinks tho...
Still working for the same company but in a lower position for a higher salary - go figure!
I go clubbing once in a while with the most awesome circle of friends - the kind that will VOLUNTEER to help you move (I love you Isa!). It's always the same club; I've found my Cheers! I walk in with BF in tow, say hi to Hugo the bartender (sweet man) who chats with us and makes our "usual" (he even remembers after a 4 month absence - wow!), we go sit in our usual spots and relax and watch people dance to EBM, new wave and alternative music or occasionally go dance with some friends. When our drinks get low, Roseline the waitress brings more and does it in her own adorable/sexy way. No fights, no harassment (the bouncers are very protective), openminded atmosphere. If ever any of you are in Montreal on a Wednesday or Saturday night, check out Le Passeport. Can't promise I'll be there but the place is awesome!!! (wow... did I just plug a bar in my blog... WTF! since when am I that kind of person.... well, it's honest, at least!).
I spend way too much time of Facebook for my own good (I know I know, it's the devil).

I've finally found what I want to do with my life although it's not attainable at the moment: open a restaurant of my own. I've noticed a severe lack of vegetarian/vegan restaurants here in Montreal and there seems to be a demand for it so that's what I'm aiming for. I even have a menu in mind and am currently working on the recipes (cuz I don't do store bought recipe books, I improvise the write down what worked the perfect it to my liking). I'm told I'm a good cook. And my vegan boyfriend is currently loving the fact that I'm baking more these days - lets just say he eats well. If I won the lotto, I'd buy a building right beside UQAM university, live on the top floor and have my restaurant below. Breakfast and lunch, baby. Fresh produce from the farmer's market. Be my own boss. Me wants! All I need is startup cash to at least rent the building and hire a bit of staff then I'm golden! one day..... *happy sigh* I don't have a name for it yet. Any ideas?
//END OF UPDATE
Anyways, that's all I have in me today. I'ma go sit in my lazyboy with a nice coffee and watch the squirrels battle it out for my neighbor's garbage (it's truly entertaining, especially when the neighbor herself gets involved and the squirrels start chittering angrily at her and she runs away.... hahaha)
Peace
