I just watched Cast Away again for like the 500th time...and I could never pin down why I like the movie so damn much until now...and it boils down to this one bit of dialogue...
"Some how I had to stay alive...even though there was no reason to hope...and all my logic said I would never see this place again. So that's what i did...I stayed alive...I kept breathing...and one day that logic was proven all wrong because one day the tide came in and gave me a sail...and now here I am." - Chuck Nolan
For those of you that get the meaning behind that how it fits into my life like a missing jigsaw piece then give yourself a gratuitous amount of credit for cracking the "Klein" logic and being able to sleuth out the hidden passage way among the walls that I build around myself...and that's not being sarcastic...that is a huge feat...and you should be commended for it...I know I am not an easy person to be around 80% of the time...and for those that I do call me friend...I humbly thank you.

I totally get that sentiment. I won't claim to know you, but I do know what it's like to keep trudging on, even when hope doesn't seem to exist.
