Hey guys so in all honesty I've been sort of avoiding doing this blog homework. I haven't done a BH in a while because I wanted to do this one but I just kept hitting a snag. I could not for the life of me figure out what the soundtrack of my life would be and it's been killing me (rhyme not intended lol). Finally after wracking my brain and thinking about it I finally came up with the answer and I thank @rambo @missy @lyxzen for putting up this Blog Homework. I've been a steampunker my whole life but I've also been a huge travel junkie since I was born. When I was a kid me and my family did nothing but travel and i've never ever liked staying in one place. Whenever I was in school I was always daydreaming about far away lands and discovering ancient civilizations. In fact i'm actually an archaeology student so my dream of finding those ancient civilizations is coming true! I discovered Abney Park when I was 14 years old by accident after they popped up on my Youtube recommendations one night. The song was Steampunk Revolution and after hearing it I became hooked on their music. What I loved most was the fact that this is a band with a fictional story based around them of a crew of airship pirates discovering new lands and going on adventures. This related to me so much because I've always been an adventurer and have always been traveling. I then discovered that the band's lead singer Captain Robert grew up in a life not so different from my own. He dealt with the same struggles and the same growing pains I did and like me he was always traveling. Every song that him and Abney Park release seems to speak directly to me and to my soul. Being a guy who just loves to get lost in exotic places and discover new things I loved that every song was literally about the crew getting lost in some unknown land. If I had to choose a soundtrack for my life it would be played by Abney Park.
