Whee! I'm leaving for Amsterdam tomorrow! Whee!
I am not a fan if sigma's lenses, and I am not a huge brand name is a must person, but I find Sigma's don't feel durable, and I have the tendancy to bash things around sometimes- though I have gotten better. I agree, the 18-55mm lense is not meant to photograph landscape. I like to shoot people more though, so for my work, it's great.
