Here I am on beppos head on the train ride out to Sydney harbor from Hellys place where I was staying. Oh boy the parties we had there. We've got tons of video that was taken by gobs of folks. Everyone needs to upload it to me soon.
The trains system in Sydney isn't bad at all compared to a lot of places in the world. There's train stations something like a mile or two miles from everything in Sydney and all of the surrounding areas. The trains themselves aren't too bad. Double deckers so you could be on the top level and look out the big windows.Although not as comfortable as say a Boeing airliner, they were reasonably well taken care of at least. Vinyl seats that weren't too torn up. Not that I needed them. Here I am kickin' back on the back of a seat.
Here me and beppo are looking out over Sydney harbor. This was a bit of a rainy day, a little bit cold, but not too bad for a sea-dweller like me. The humans that were with me were a little less comfortable but I laughed at them and asked them what they thought it'd feel like at 100 feet below the surface in the ocean. It's just a few degrees above freezing down there, ya know? It's like living in a bucket of ice water. Just, ya know, with a lot more stuff to eat.
Before heading into the aquarium the people wanted to eat. This, my friends, is what these people put me through. They're constantly eating my friends. But before they do, they wave the butchered body parts in front of me! Naturally, I can't help but cringe up.
Poor lil guy didn't stand a chance.
Once inside the aquarium we found a croc. All he did was sleep. I don't think he lives a very productive life there. Noir and Milli actually wanted to THROW ME IN so that they could see the croc move! Can you belive that?! Fortunately, me and beppo were able to talk some sense into them and they didn't do it.
I got to sit on one that was cut in half.
Ok, it's really difficult to see what's going on here, but you're looking down. We're in the seal tank which is inside. About 10 feet below is a seal on a rock. Noir and Milli had the bright idea to dangle me over the side of the ledge for a picture! Holy crap was I scared! What you can't see are the sharks and rays and tuna and all kinds of fish swimming around in that pool that are just dying to eat my little tentacles off! Can you see the terror in my face? Oh belive me, it's there.
Here I'm forced to face the danger. I had my eyes closed the whole time. Well, I kind of always have my eyes closed. But rest assured they were clenched tighter than normal in this picture.
After I about peed myself being dangled over the most dangerous water that I've probably ever been exposed to my whole life, we walked underneath it. I liked this part. Here I was able to feel as if I was a part of the undersea world without having to run from any predators. There were sharks everywhere in that thing! Can you belive this is what I was being dangled over?
This is a sharks ass. See any resemblance? I don't. I swear, I'm like the Charlie Brown of the undersea world. Everyone is always pickin' on me.
They constantly kept showing me just how dangerous that lil part of the ocean was. This guy's kindo pretty though with the black fin n such.
Right here I'm sure what I was saying was "GAHHHH! RUN! SWIM! GO GO GO GO!!"
Here I am posing with, of all things, a rays butt. It's tail was whacked off or something.
This is more my kindo world here. Nice n tranquil. Although there's a ray swimming overhead. I don't think he'd eat me though. If so I'd ink on him and haul ass out of there.
Here, and in the picture above, I am absorbing someones funds from their wallet while they look at the fish. just a little payback for them constantly torturing me.
A nice little seascape.
Here's another place I wouldn't mind hangin out at for a while.
Here's a place I did hang out for a little while.
I really like this picture. I thought about making it my profile picture, although I like to keep my profile pictures recent. These images are from back in early September, two months ago.
This is about as close to being in the undersea world that I expect I'll get anytime soon. This is me on a glass floor with sea creatures swimming underneath.
Here I am relaxing in Noirs purse. They made beppo carry it around. It was funny. He still looked punk rock in his Vandals hoodie though.
Eventually the inevitable happened.
This dude totally wanted to eat me for dinner. But I screamed like a mother-fucker and laid down some kung-fu moves in his mouth and managed to get free.
Then I jumped on his back and rode him.
After the aquarium it was off to the pub to get meet up with Playpuz for some brew. Here I am showing how I'll have none of that pussy-ass sippin' madness. I just dive straight in that glass and engulf myself in the beer.
Here I am trying to make a difference by picketing smokers.
It didn't take long for me to get through with the beer and start hittin' the hard stuff.
All that running around had me totally pooped by the end of the day. Here beppo managed to get a shot of me sleeping on the trainride back.
I've uploaded a ton more pictures so check those out. And be sure and keep an eye out because I have another post coming up really soon about me visiting the Sydney Opera House.
And for gods sake. For all of SGs sake. If you have any video or pictures please upload them here! beppo is building a site to showcase all of mayhem that went on during my adventures out there. One that, like wikipedia, we'll all be able to edit and add to. Please upload them so he can back them up before they're lost forever.
I wish we had more train stations in the US.
I had no idea it was that cold in the ocean.
I have to say your friends do not look like they would taste very good.
You would not have lasted long in there with that croc.
I'm glad you didn't fall in, next time make them hang over the edge.
That shark looks like he wants to eat you.
Wow that last shark really doesn't look like he is about to eat you.
2 months ago really isn't that long ago.
I'm glad you got free, I thought you were a goner for sure.
That is the way a real man drinks his beer.
I can't wait to see the next journal.
