So, today is my first day off work in about two weeks, which is why I haven't been on here. My days have literally been as follows: Wake up, go to work, go home and work on school, sleep, repeat; it sucks. Since I have the day off today, though, I'll make sure to get to all my messages, and I apologize that it has taken so long to respond.
In other news, I can now see why BAs are becoming almost as useless as high school diplomas. In my class, the people are so idiotic I find it hard to believe that they even passed high school, yet here they are in college and probably passing at that. A good majority of them do not know how to properly use a comma nor how to start a paper. As stated by a Mr. Smith in his wondrous thesis about a thematic image in The Zodiac (2007), "The film I watched for my analysis was the zodiac it was released in 2007, it was written by James Vanderbilt and directed by David Fincher. I have never seen this film before this was my first time watching it; actually I have never seen any of the movies that we had to view for the analysis" [sic]. Wow, I think this is a very strong argument as to why that theme was important. What theme was that again? Anyways, he goes on later in his post (which is about two paragraphs although the teacher wanted about four; I wrote two pages) to explain how alcohol is bad for you. His closing argument is equally as exemplary in which he states, "I think they put the drinking in the movie to make it more interesting. The movie was a good movie even though its not the type of movie I prefer." How profound; the other posts were not much better, some even worse.
Anyways, because of this horrid realization that a BA makes you seem just smart enough to work a grill at Burger King I have decided to go to law school when I finish mine. I think it will be enjoyable, and in the end even if it isn't I'll make more money because of it. Sounds like a win/win situation to me.
