My friend is due to have her baby in a week!!! I'm so excited to see her after she's out! She's naming her Maiya Susan and she's already pretty big so I hope the birth goes well. Having lived in Portland pretty much all of my life (until very recently, that is), I can recommend it highly. And Vancouver, WA is so very close, you'd practically be living in Portland! Vancouver is certainly cheaper than Seattle... and cheaper than Portland, for that matter. I would assume that you could find a good nursing program somewhere in Portland, too, if you don't feel like living in Tacoma. (Which I don't blame you. Yuck!)
